I’m Vrushali Shah, a counselling psychologist with over three and a half years of experience supporting individuals through emotional, behavioural, and life-transition challenges. Over these years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own story, pace, and strengths to the therapeutic space.My approach is eclectic, compassionate, and deeply personalised. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based tools. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I adapt my approach to meet you where you are, tailoring every session to what feels safe, relevant, and helpful in the moment.I truly believe that each of us carries an inner light, a quiet source of clarity, strength, and self-awareness. Sometimes, life’s challenges can make that light feel dim or distant. Through therapy, my intention is to help you reconnect with it, recognise your inner resources, and feel supported as you navigate your emotional landscape.My journey into psychology began with this belief in human potential. After completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology, I began my practice with the hope of offering a space that is warm, grounded, and non-judgmental. Over the years, I’ve continued to upskill and learn so that the care I provide remains thoughtful, relevant, and aligned with current therapeutic research.I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship concerns, loneliness, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, and various personal transitions.
