Kritika Modi is a Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Christ (Deemed to be) University, Bangalore. She is UGC-NET qualified and holds certifications in CBT Coaching and Single Session Therapy. Kritika has trained across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, early intervention clinics, schools, and community-based organisations, working with individuals from varied backgrounds and life stages.Kritika works with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing concerns such as anxiety, stress, low mood, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, burnout, or struggles with motivation, habits, and life transitions. She also has experience working with children and adolescents in both structured and play-based settings. Her work is especially suited for individuals who are seeking a safe, respectful space to talk openly, reflect on their experiences, and feel genuinely heard. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and client-centred. Kritika draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Behaviour Therapy (BT), Cognitive Therapy (CT), Single Session Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy. She believes that therapy does not always need to be long-term to be meaningful. Sometimes, even a single conversation held with care and clarity can offer relief, insight, or a shift in perspective. She works by helping clients gently explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, while supporting them in building practical coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable. At the heart of Kritika’s work is the belief that people already carry strengths within them, even when they feel overwhelmed or stuck. She focuses on creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. Her style is calm, empathetic, and collaborative rather than directive. She values active listening, emotional validation, and thoughtful reflection, and adapts her approach to match each client’s needs, goals, and comfort levels.Kritika’s training includes conducting psychological assessments, facilitating group sessions, providing psychoeducation, and supporting individuals with concerns related to substance use, mood and anxiety difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, and everyday psychological stressors. Alongside clinical work, she is actively involved in mental health outreach, awareness initiatives, and content development. She also teaches psychology at the high school level, which has strengthened her ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, relatable, and compassionate way.She was drawn to psychology through a deep curiosity about human emotions, resilience, and the impact of feeling truly understood. Kritika believes that healing often begins with being listened to without judgment or pressure. Her approach is particularly helpful for those who may feel unsure about starting therapy or who simply need a space to pause, speak freely, and be met with understanding. If you are seeking a listener who brings empathy, professionalism, and thoughtful presence into each conversation, Kritika invites you to book a session and take a step toward support and self-understanding.
