Credentials & What Drives Me – I have completed my Masters in Psychology and advanced Diploma in Guidance and Counselling with outstanding performance. I am formally trained in trauma informed care, suicide prevention and child counselling. I have active field experience working with vulnerable individuals and 4000+ counselling hours for children, adolescents and young adults. Due to my past experiences I believe in firm boundaries with compassionate care. I have evolved my empathetic listening skills and keep a positive outlook for change. Even with drawbacks and challenges in a clients progress, I have learned to be extremely patient and understanding unique human capacities for asking and taking others help. With this I feel I make a strong connection with my clients and maintain my own integrities and values.

Multidisciplinary & Rehabilitation Work : I have worked with over 300 children and 150 youth, from rural, semi rural and urban slum backgrounds. The techniques that I use rely on an individuals own strengths and emotional abilities to create better mindset and self awareness. I have actively worked through motivational framework for behavioural change, management and retention of the positive change.
Current Counselling: My role was a in house child counselor and community leader for youth and women groups in villages of India. I have worked with extremely dysfunctional and traumatised children as well as academically and emotionally distressed children in government schools. In community I engaged with women groups dealing with socioeconomic and emotional distress, career counselling for youth and women empowerment for girls in rural and urban slums.
