Therapeutic Approach – My approach is person-centered and non-directive, grounded in the belief that people (an adult or a child) thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. Drawing from humanistic and existential traditions, I view therapy as a space to explore emotions, meaning, choice, and identity at a pace that honours each individual’s developmental stage and lived experience. I work through a trauma-informed and intersectional lens, with close attention to safety, consent, emotional regulation, and the impact of early experiences on behaviour and relationships. I am queer-affirmative and committed to creating an inclusive, non-judgmental space and affirming space for my queer and trans clients. When working with children and adolescents, I collaborate closely with parents while prioritising the child’s emotional world and need for trust. In sessions, I bring warmth, presence, and curiosity, allowing therapy to feel relational and collaborative rather than corrective or pathologising.
Credentials & What Drives Me – I hold an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology and have worked as a school counsellor, college counsellor, and psychotherapist. My work includes individual therapy, designing and facilitating social-emotional learning programmes, parenting consultations, teacher trainings, and institutional wellbeing initiatives. My training spans queer-affirmative counselling, trauma-informed care, restorative practices, positive parenting, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and POSH training. I engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing learning, guided by the belief that therapy is a continually evolving practice. Alongside professional training, my own experiences with anxiety brings a more natural sensitivity and understanding to how vulnerable it can feel to ask for support for yourself or your child.
Take the First Step – I currently offer online therapy. If you are an individual looking for a calm, affirming space to explore your inner world, or you’re a parent seeking thoughtful support for your child, you’re welcome to reach out. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with what feels meaningful. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
