Therapeutic Approach – My therapeutic approach integrates Dance Movement Therapy, creative arts based psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and reflective dialogue. I work from a person-centered and body based lens, creating an environment that feels safe, collaborative and non judgmental. My intention is not to give quick fixes, but to support clients in accessing their inner resources, understanding their emotional patterns and building tools that help them feel grounded and more connected to themselves. I believe the body holds emotional information that words alone cannot always access. When we move, express and listen to the body, we make space for regulation, clarity and growth. Clients often describe sessions with me as gentle, grounding, playful and deeply meaningful, allowing room for both silence and movement.
Credentials & What Drives Me – I work with children, adolescents, and adults aged 5 to 40, across neurotypical and neurodiverse profiles. I support individuals experiencing emotional overwhelm, anxiety, behavioural and relational challenges, identity shifts, body-based stress, and those carrying experiences of trauma who are looking for a space to feel seen, supported, and regulated.
Take the First Step – Whether you are navigating big feelings, wanting support with emotional regulation, exploring identity or simply seeking a space to slow down and breathe, therapy can help you feel less alone in your process. Available online and in person in Delhi NCR To book a session or enquire about availability, you can reach out anytime. You do not need to move fast. You just need to begin.

What clients can expect

Drawing on my current and previous clinical work in forensic mental health, schools, paediatric and community services, I help clients improve emotional wellbeing, personal growth and everyday functioning by using movement-based and creative therapy to support emotional regulation, health anxiety, trauma related difficulties and somatic or body based pain, while working in an intersectional and culturally responsive way that honours each person’s family, identity, social context and lived realities so therapy feels practical, relevant and sustainable beyond sessions.
Academic & Clinical Foundation : I hold a Master’s degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London, am a Registered Dance Movement Therapist with ADMP (UK) and enrolled with NCAHP (India), with additional professional training in psychodrama, group process and creative arts based therapy to support children, adolescents and adults across diverse mental health needs
Assessment & Therapeutic Experience : I specialise in helping children, teens and adults (3 to 40 years) build emotional regulation, body awareness and self confidence through movement based therapy, especially for anxiety, emotional overwhelm, social difficulties, learning differences and behavioural challenges. My work is designed for people who struggle to express themselves only through talking and benefit from a creative, body based way of processing emotions
Multidisciplinary & Rehabilitation Work : My expertise lies in rehabilitation focused Dance Movement Therapy within complex mental health and developmental settings, including forensic services, schools and paediatric care, where I work alongside psychologists, psychiatrists, teachers and families to support long term recovery, functional coping skills and real life integration beyond the therapy room.
Current Counselling: I currently work as a Dance Movement Therapist across private practice and organisational settings, offering individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults (ages 3 to 40), including neurotypical and neurodiverse clients, and supporting concerns such as emotional regulation, anxiety and health anxiety, somatic and body based pain, trauma related difficulties, behavioural and social challenges, learning differences and everyday emotional wellbeing.

How My Experience Guides You

My approach guides my work by shaping how sessions are designed and paced. I start with what your body is showing in the present moment, then choose movement, creative and reflective interventions that match your emotional capacity, cultural background, family context and lived realities. This allows me to adapt therapy for each person, whether a child, adolescent or adult.

A Personal Word for You

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially when what you are experiencing comes and goes. Some days you may feel completely okay and wonder if you even need therapy, and on other days everything can feel heavy again. That is a very real and normal part of the emotional journey. You are not broken for needing support, and you are not failing if you pause, return, or take your time with the process. Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about creating a steady, respectful space where your body, emotions and experiences can be understood at your own pace, within your personal and cultural world. Whenever you are ready, you are welcome here. You do not have to carry this alone
